Contours of Development Work: Promise and Prospects

As part of the Career Talk Series 2025 at the O.P. Jindal Global University (JGU), Sonipat, National Capital Region, Haryana, India, Dr. Indu Prakash Singh, Senior Advisor, Research & Advocacy, InditeGlobal, conducted a session on the “Contours of Development Work: Promise and Prospects”. The session covered themes of public policy, governance and social change crosscutting Gender, Urban Development, Environment, Social and Governance (ESG).

Dr. Singh discussed both academic and career-building pathways, and also the challenges, opportunities and prospects for a career in the social impact space. From discussions on social change to grassroots development, the conversation sparked meaningful reflections and fresh career inspiration among the audience.
